School Meals

Our school meals offer children a hot lunch/jacket potato with fresh fruit and a yoghurt each day. All the food is cooked in our school kitchen using fresh ingredients bought from local suppliers. Menus are changed twice a year and are sent home to parents.

The cost of a school meal from January 2025 will be £2.75 per day (£13.75 weekly) and meals are paid for in advance. Dinner money can be paid directly into the school’s bank account. Every child has an individual account on our payments system, so any number of meals can be paid for, e.g. weekly, monthly, termly.

Snacks

Children are not allowed to bring sweets, crisps or chocolate snacks to school. Pupils in Early Years and KS1 are provided with a healthy snack every day from a “Vegetable and Fruit Scheme” financed by the Government. Pupils in KS2 may bring a healthy fruit or vegetable snack to school if they wish. We have a ‘no nuts’ policy in school.
